Old Town San Diego will host its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 7:00 PM. The event will take place at the Old Town Market located at 4010 Twiggs Street.
The ceremony will feature carols lead by volunteers from the Mormon Battalion Historic Site, and then with a “flip of the switch” the 12 foot Noble Fir will illuminate, officially kicking-off the holiday season in Old Town San Diego!
Thereafter, everyone is welcome to explore the more than 40 unique vendors in Old Town Market or one of Old Town San Diego’s many wonderful retail shops. Guests may also take advantage of “Taco Tuesday” dining specials at participating restaurants.
“This year’s Tree Lighting Ceremony reflects Old Town San Diego’s colorful tradition of embracing our multicultural heritage,” said Chamber of Commerce President, Fred Grand.
Guests are also encouraged to participate in the Old Town Food Drive. The Chamber of Commerce is collecting canned goods and dry goods to donate to our local food pantry at Old Town Community Church. Every single donation helps, and together we hope our combined donations will make a real difference for those in need. A donation box will be set up at the tree lighting ceremony.
