The much-awaited Cinco de Mayo festivities are just around the corner, and Old Town San Diego is gearing up for a weekend-long celebration filled with food, drink specials, and family-friendly activities.
The festivities officially kick off on Friday the 5th, which is considered the biggest party day of the weekend. Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere and plenty of food and drink specials to mark the occasion.
On Saturday and Sunday, businesses and restaurants in Old Town San Diego will be offering a variety of family-friendly activities, including live music, dance performances, face painting, and more!
Be sure to check out the Harney Street Market, open 10am-7pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This bustling street market features some of San Diego’s finest artisans all in one place. From handcrafted jewelry and pottery to locally made art, it’s the perfect place to find a one-of-a-kind memento of your Old Town experience.
“While the celebration may look a bit different this year, visitors can still expect the same lively atmosphere that has made Old Town San Diego a popular Cinco de Mayo destination for years,” says Chamber President, Fred Grand.
