Diane Powers’ Bazaar del Mundo Shops welcomes the season in style with its one day only Fall Pop-up event on Saturday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A spectacular array of colorful, exotic one-of-a-kind fashions and jewelry will be offered in a marketplace of creative wearables.
With a collection of stunning semi-precious inlaid stone treasure necklaces, stylish faux fur jackets, kimonos and silk scarves, colorful resin statement jewelry pieces, and more, artists and designers from around the world will turn the Shops’ patio into an unmissable unique shopping destination perfect to ease yourself into the holiday season with early gift inspiration.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to craft their own custom necklace, choosing from a wonderful assortment of unique beads and cords from ZSISKA.

- Kim Yubeta brings contemporary and antique elements together with her vibrant and eclectic treasure statement necklaces, each handmade with semi-precious gems, charms, mementos, relics and beads.
- ZSISKA’s bold colors and innovative designs are made of resin, some which are combined with 24k gold and pure silver leaf to create extraordinary statement pieces that are lightweight and pleasant to wear. Also available will be the exclusive collaboration line PRUE with Dame Prue Leith, famous for her judge role in The Great British Bake Off show.
- Ayala Bar is an Israeli artist that combines metals with fabrics, beads, plaster, wood and different finding to create mosaic-like jewelry, virtually reminiscent of the ancient Byzantine era.
- Michael Michaud botanical inspired jewelry capture the beauty and exquisite details of nature using patinas on bronze accented with pearls, beads and semi-precious stones. Each piece is hand crafted, and glass cast from the actual plant, using a technique similar to lost-wax casting.
- Nordic Beach offers a colorful array of comfy and cozy blanket jackets to keep warm and stay stylish during sweater-weather season
- Vicky La Jolla features fashionable scarves, shawls and kimonos in a variety of colors and textures
Drawings will be held every hour for the chance to win some special prizes and delicious treats will be provided throughout the day. The shelves at Bazaar del Mundo Shops, located at 4133 Taylor Street in Old Town across the parking lot from restaurant, Casa Guadalajara, will be brimming with an enticing selection of imported worldly gifts.
Free parking is available at the Caltrans parking lot across the street all day on Saturday.
